OFFLU is a global network of experts working on animal influenzas. The network facilitates exchange amongst experts on scientific data and biological material like virus strains so that the scientific community around the world has access to the latest information on animal influenzas. These experts provide technical advice and veterinary expertise to FAO and OIE members to assist in prevention, surveillance, preparedness, diagnosis and control of influenzas and collaborate with WHO to contribute to early preparation of human vaccines for influenzas with zoonotic potential.
