Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) is a major disease of livestock in Asia and worldwide. Its impacts on economy and livelihood of people are drastic. FMD is endemic in Southeast Asian countries due to traditional farming system and livestock trade. Not only are developing countries in Southeast Asia, advanced countries previously free from FMD such as Japan, R. O. Korea and Chinese Taipei are also affected by FMD outbreaks.  Read More..
